Nearing my trip to Drumheller I feel excited and nervous. Excited because I get to be away from home, don't get me wrong, I love family and being with them, but sometimes it's nice to get away for a bit and enjoy myself without them, but not for too long! ;) I'm also excited for just being immersed into acting, I love the feeling of performing, it is an explosive and wonderful feeling for me. I'm nervous because I'm not sure at all what I will be doing nor what to bring. My knowledge of what exactly I will be doing while there is foggy to say the least. But I expect it will be a wonderful and learning experience.
This is also the first non-Christian summer experience I will be going to, I'm guessing there will be many "Christians" because Rosebud is a Christian performing arts school and the passion play is well, about Jesus! So I hope to be salt and light where I go, but also to have fun and learn new things about myself and where acting fits into my life.
I'm sure this will be an experience to never forget!
